All of the images in our Stock Photo Library are the copyright of Lochman Transparencies and should not be copied, downloaded, transferred, published, re-created or used in any manner without prior consent.

We license our high quality images throughout the world for commercial and editorial use, at very competitive prices.
Rights Managed Licensing
At Lochman Transparencies we provide Rights Managed (RM) Licensing, because we believe it is fair and practical for both photographers and clients.
The licensing fee for Rights Managed images is based on usage. The price is not fixed, but varies according to how the image is to be used where, when, for what purpose etc.
If you want to use a Rights Managed photograph for an additional purpose after the initial purchase rights have been used or expired, you simply purchase more rights.
Rights Managed Licenses do not entitle the licensee to ownership. You cannot resell a Lochman Transparencies photograph, claim it as your own, donate it to anyone, or syndicate it in any manner.
How to license an image
Obtaining an image license for a Lochman Transparencies photograph is easy. Simply select the image you require from our online library and fill out our Image License Request Form. We’ll assess your request based on the information provided and contact you with a quotation.
If you choose to accept the quote, we arrange for the immediate delivery of your image and invoice as follows:
| If your chosen image is less than 10MB in size we can forward it direct to your email account. | |
| FTP Server | Simply supply your FTP address, username and password and we can upload your image direct to your server. |
| Post | A digital file of your image is placed on CD/DVD and delivered to your business address (please add $10 for postage and handling). Overnight courier delivery costs $19.00. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I obtain ‘exclusive’ rights?
Whilst most our clients choose Non-Exclusive Licensing Rights, there are occasions when Exclusive Licensing is required. Exclusive Licensing ensures an image cannot be licensed to another party. The licensing fee is calculated based on the number of countries/regions included in the license, and the length of time that exclusivity is required.
Who can license an image?
Our images can be licensed to registered businesses, government bodies, commercial entities and not-for-profit organisations. We have an extensive client base, which includes: Book & Magazine Publishers, Government Departments, Advertising Agencies, Independent Design Artists, and Calendar & Greeting Card Publishers.
Where can Lochman Transparencies images be used?
We place no restrictions on where our images can be used. Lochman Transparencies images have been licensed for a vast range of uses the world over, including: Books, Magazines, Postage Stamps, Calendars, Posters, DVD & CD Covers, Advertisements, even as Models for Manufacturing of Toys.
How large are the image files you supply?
To meet the individual needs of our clients, we supply each image in the exact size required for publication to ensure the best possible results.
All of our images are at least 30MB in uncompressed format (approximately A4 size/300dpi) however, if the size required is less than this (such as for online usage), we simply supply a smaller file size, with no loss of image quality.
