Common name: Australasian Pipit; Former common name: Richard’s Pipit - Distribution in Australia: throughout Australia and Tasmania – Also: throughout New Zealand and in southern and central Papua New Guinea - Photographed in November at the top of Peak Charles in Peak Charles National Park, east of Lake King in Western Australia.
