Order Diprotodontia; Family Macropodidae (Kangaroos and Wallabies); Scientific name: Osphranter robustus; Former scientific name: Macropus robustus; Subspecies erubescens: Common name: Euro; Alternative common name: Common Wallaroo -  Drinking - Distribution in Australia:  Subspecies erubescens is found throughout arid and semiarid inland in all mainland states except Victoria.  It is found west of the Great Dividing Range and south of the tropics up to the west coast.
