Golden Bowerbird

Order Passeriformes; Family Ptilonorhynchidae (Bowerbirds); Scientific name: Prionodura newtoniana; Common name: Golden Bower Bird – Male by his bower - Distribution in Australia: Queensland endemic found in a small area of montane tropical rainforest above 900 metres elevation between Cooktown in the north and Seaview-Paluma Ranges north of Townsville in the south.
