Order Psittaciformes; Family Cacatuidae (Cockatoos); Scientific name: Cacatua sanguinea; Common name: Little Corella; Alternative common name: Short-billed Corella, or Cockatoo – Distribution in Australia: all mainland states except Victoria, also absent in most areas east of Great Dividing Range and of southern Western Australia - Note: it has been relatively recently introduced to Perth Metropolitan Area - Distribution outside Australia: southern New Guinea.
