Orange-footed Scrubfowl

Order Galliformes; Family Megapodiidae (Megapodes); Scientific name: Megapodius reinwardt; Common name: Orange-footed Scrub Fowl, or Orange Footed Scrubfowl - Distribution in Australia: a tropical bird found from north-western Kimberley in Western Australia, through the coastal Top End of the Northern Territory and from the tip of Cape York Peninsula in north-eastern Queensland south to about Tropic of Capricorn – Also in  parts of Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and islands of the Torres Strait.
