Common name: Channel-billed Cuckoo – Distribution in Australia: northern and eastern Australia from Kimberley Region of Western Australia, through northern half of the Northern Territory, and throughout most of Queensland and northern half of New South Wales and north-eastern South Australia - Distribution outside Australia: overwinters in the Moluccas, Lesser Sundas, Aru Island and Bismarc Archipelago, less frequently in New Guinea; breeds in central Indonesia, chiefly in Sulawesi and surrounding islands.
