Little Grassbird

Order Passeriformes; Family Sylviidae (Old World Warblers); Scientific name: Megalurus gramineus; Subspecies: thomasi;

Common name: Little Grassbird - Distribution in Australia: Subspecies: thomasi is found in southern and  western Western Australia roughly between Shark Bay and Hopetoun, other subspecies are found in South Australia Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and western Papua New Guinea - Photographed in September in Herdsman Lake Reserve in Perth.
