Order Passeriformes; Family Meliphagidae (Honeyeaters); Scientific name: Lichenostomus unicolor; Common name: White-gaped Honeyeater – Distribution in Australia: tropical honeyeater found between Broome in Western Australia, through the Top End of the Northern Territory, and from the north-western Queensland to the northern tip of Cape York Peninsula then south to about Townsville.
