Order Passeriformes; Family Meliphagidae (Honeyeaters); Scientific name: Melithrepus lunatus; Common name: White-naped Honeyeater – Distribution in Australia: south-western Western Australia between Lancelin in the north and Israelite Bay in the east; then from Port Augusta in South Australia eastwards, throughout Victoria, and eastern New South Wales to Cooktown in the far north-eastern Queensland.
