Australian Feral Pigeons often nest in crevices of coastal limestone cliffs. - Distribution in Australia: found in all states and territories especially in and around cities (with an exception of Darwin) larger towns and in rural areas– Distribution outside Australia: original distribution of Wild Rock Pigeons are semi-arid areas of Europe, western Asia and North Africa; Feral Pigeon are nowadays found in most countries of the world. Note: The Feral Pigeons are descendants of Homing Pigeons that were brought to Australia by European settlers.
