Bony Bream

Family Clupeidae – Herrings; Scientific name: Nematolosa erebi; Common name: Bony Bream – Distribution in Australia: a common and widespread Australian endemic fish present in all mainland states from Pilbara and Kimberley Regions of Western Australia through the northern Northern Territory, through most of Queensland and New South Wales and in Murray-Darling River system of Victoria and New South Wales, also found in Lake Eyre system of central Australia.
