Hyrtl’s Tandan

Family Plotosidae – Eel-tailed Catfishes; Scientific name: Neosilurus hyrtlii; Common name: Hyrtl’s Tandan – Distribution in Australia: widespread in rivers of Pilbara and Kimberley Regions of Western Australia through the Top End of the Northern Territory and through much of Queensland and into northern and western New South Wales and northern South Australia.
