Purple-spotted Gudgeon

Family Eleotridae – Gudgeons; Scientific name: Mogurnda adspersa; Common name: Purple-spotted Gudgeon, or Purple Spotted Gudgeon – Distribution in Australia: a common fish widely distributed between central Cape York Peninsula in north-eastern Queensland to Clarence River in northern New South Wales and throughout Murray-Darling system of southern Queensland, New South Wales and northern Victoria.
