Order Anura; Family Myobatrachidae (Australian Toadlets); Scientific name: Myobatrachus gouldii; Common name: Turtle Frog – Distribution in Australia: Western Australian endemic species found in Midwest, Wheat-belt, South-west and South-east Coastal Regions between Kalbarri NP in the north and Grass Patch north of Esperance in the east; absent from the heavily forested areas of the south-west.
