Order Coleoptera; Family Buprestidae – Jewel Beetles; Scientific name: Castiarina sanguinolenta; Common name and description: Jewel Beetle feeding on Agonis flowers – Distribution in Australia: likely a Western Australian endemic species with one doubtful record from outside of WA, it is not even known whether this record is from South Australia, or the Northern Territory.
