Order Coleoptera; Family Curculionidae (Weevils); Subfamily Cyclominae; Tribe Amycterini; A provisional scientific name: Gagatophorus sp. aff. obsoletus; Note: this specimen resembles Gagatophorus obsoletus, and might actually be that species, but at the same time it differs enough to cast doubt on accuracy of this identification; Common name: Broad-nosed Weevil – Distribution in Australia: Western Australian endemic weevil know only from a small area of the Wheatbelt Region – Photographed: in February, on Holland Track east of Hyden.
