(WA – Zuytdorp NP -3)Common name: Bee Fly – Male – Description: Almost black fly with an unpatterned thorax fringed laterally with white, erect indumentum that merges into a beige collar; abdomen almost black with one prominent white stripe in the centre and some erect, lateral white and grey hairs, plus some scattered, white-silvery adpressed hairs; facial hair between eyes black; wings clear - Distribution in Australia: Western Australia – Photographed: in October, in Zuytdorp National Park in Gascoyne Region.
