Common name: Bee Fly – Description: Thorax unpatterned with light and dark brown adpressed hairs and a prominent white hairs in a lateral stripe from the head extending onto the basal coastal cell of the wing; collar light brown; facial hairs between eyes grey; abdomen with two white stripes with wider dark brown and narrower lighter brown stripes; wings clear with brown costal cells and associated veins - Distribution in Australia: Western Australia – Photographed: in January, in Yeal Nature Reserve north of Perth.
