Order Chiroptera; Family Miniopteridae; Scientific name: Miniopterus australis; Common name: Little Bent-winged Bat; Alternative common name: Little Bentwing Bat – Distribution in Australia: Found in eastern Queensland from the top of Cape York Peninsula and Torres Straight Islands south to about Newcastle in eastern New South Wales.
